Originally calling Tarpon Springs home, Alexa had always dreamed of becoming a Gator. Her dreams came true when she received the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program (MFOS) Scholarship in 2012. This incredible opportunity paved the way for her to double major in Advertising and Psychology while also earning a Master's Certificate in Social Media during her undergraduate career.

Throughout her time at the University of Florida, she was deeply involved with the MFOS program. Alexa was a peer mentor for three years and served as the program's undergrad assistant in her senior year.

Professionally, Alexa has worked in digital marketing for the past decade. She has navigated various facets of the field, from social media management and event coordination to digital acquisition and lead generation. She has worked in client marketing as the owner of her consultancy and is currently the Digital Marketing Manager for a SaaS company.

While her journey started in the sunshine state, Alexa now calls the (equally sunny but less rainy) city of Los Angeles home.
