Co-President

Mario Agosto

A native of Puerto Rico, Mario relocated to Ocala, Florida in his early youth and grew up cheering for the Gators. As a recipient of the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars (MFOS) Program, he was able to attend the University of Florida without carrying the financial burden of a post-secondary degree.

While earning his undergraduate degree, he quickly became involved with Student Government and the Hispanic Student Association (HSA), eventually serving as President of HSA and Student Body Vice President. Mario was also an ambassador to the MFOS Program, a Florida Cicerone, a member of Florida Blue Key and the UF Hall of Fame.

Mario became a double Gator after receiving his Masters in Real Estate Finance from the Hough Graduate School of Business. During graduate school, Mario served as the graduate assistant for the MFOS Program. He now works at a private equity firm in Boca Raton. He is currently the youngest member of the MFOS Leadership Council.
